This page explains what sohaibwaheed.com collects about you, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by Sohaib Waheed. Questions or requests: sohaib@zaltechai.com.
What I collect
- When you get a free resource or join the waitlist: your name, your email address, the job or role you picked, what you asked for, the date, and that you agreed to receive email. I also note the topics of what you've asked for (for example "build" or "community") so I can send you things you'll find useful.
- When you send a message: your name, email address, subject and message.
- When you book a call: your name, email, the time you booked and anything you add to the booking. Bookings will run through Calendly and payments through Stripe; I never see your card details.
- About your visit, when you send a form: the country you're visiting from (worked out from the request; I don't store your IP address), the page you were on, and where you came from, read from the link you arrived through (for example a YouTube video or an Instagram link) at the moment you send the form. Nothing is stored in your browser for this: no cookies, and no note kept between visits.
- Visitor statistics: I count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.
Why
To send you what you asked for, to reply to your message, to run the calls you book, and to understand which videos and posts bring people here. If you agreed to emails, I'll occasionally send notes on building with AI. I don't sell your data, and I don't share it with anyone except the services below.
Who processes it for me
- Amazon Web Services: hosting this site and sending email (United States).
- MongoDB Atlas: storing signups and messages (on AWS in Mumbai, India).
- Calendly and Stripe: bookings and payments, when you book a call.
- Umami: visitor statistics, without cookies.
How long I keep it
Your email stays on my list until you unsubscribe. After that I keep only a record that you unsubscribed, so you're never emailed again. Messages are kept for two years. Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax rules require.
Your choices
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can ask me at any time to show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it: email sohaib@zaltechai.com and I'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This site isn't meant for anyone under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top. If the change matters, I'll tell subscribers by email.
