## The path here.
Not a straight line. Every step is true and checkable.
2016

### Sydney.
Graduated from UTS in Information Systems, with distinction.
2017

### Still in Sydney.
Delivering pizzas for Domino's.
2018

### Back home.
I was leading a development team and had no idea how an API worked. I left a good job in Sydney for about 50,000 rupees a month in Pakistan. Everyone said I was crazy.
2020

### $76.
My first job online: writing user stories, for $76. The client wrote: “He understands requirements without too much explanation and delivers quickly.”
2021

### The expensive lesson.
My first startup. I paid other people to build what I'd specified but couldn't see, and lost $20,000.
2022

### Learning to build.
So I learned the part I couldn't see: architecture, retrieval, agents, the code. Expert-Vetted on Upwork that year, then Toptal.
2023

How I build

## Everything I build starts on paper.
It's how I've built 25–30+ apps. I do the thinking, the AI does the building.

### Paper
One page, pen not keyboard. The flow, the journey, the architecture. Where the AI sits, and where a human must say yes.

### Pushback
I read the page out loud to Claude and make it disagree. Five questions, until the page is honest. Then I decide the architecture and the stack.

### Production
A six-line brief becomes one build prompt per service. The AI builds inside the structure I decided. I review like an architect, ship, and go back to paper.

## Questions people ask.

### I don't come from a technical background. Can I still build with AI?
Yes. I spent years in product management writing specs for software I couldn't build myself. Start with one small app: draw how it works on paper, take that page to Claude, and build it in an evening. Confidence comes from shipping one thing.

### Which tools do you use?
Claude to think the product through and push back on my plan. Then there are two ways to build: describe the app and Lovable builds the full working app, or work in the code with Cursor and Claude Code. I use both.

### Is AI going to take my job?
It's changing what the job is. The people who learn to use it get more done, and get paid for it. That's what I teach.

### What happens on a paid call?
Pick the length, pay when you book, and add a line about what you want to cover. We spend the whole time on your problem.
